Vivi is a happy tune I sang over my infant, Vivien Grace, when we moved from New Mexico to California. She was four-weeks old (If she came as scheduled, she would have been only two weeks old!).
In the middle of sad good-byes, I got one happy hello!
Her little presence offered a calm in the midst of chaos, and this song became a blessing over her life.
Vivien Grace means "Life full of grace," which is our prayer for her - that her life would be full of grace: gracious, graceful, receiving and giving grace. All the graces. : )
lyrics
Vivi, O Vivi, O you are so pretty
Your eyes are a Summer sky
I wish I could know just what you’re thinking
Behind that smile
Born two weeks early,
You were so worried that there was just too much to miss
All was disorder, my wonder beholder,
The world was your magic wish
Hello to all that awaits
To the wishes we have for a life full of grace
Hello to happy mistakes
To the mystery of each day
Hello to all that awaits
To the wishes we have for a life full of grace
Hello to happy mistakes
To the mystery of each day
Vivi, O Vivi, O you are so pretty
